Project Sheet No2 - 3D Floral Vase Card
Step by Step Instructions

The following are free step by step instructions for you to print and use. These projects have a package available which will make 5 cards (either identical or similar designs) and include all the items you need to complete the project (excluding basics like tools and adhesives). We have also provided details of the items used in the project if you would like to buy them separately.

Note: We recommend you use Hi-Tack (Super Sticky) Tape for this project but ordinary double sided tape may be used

• Take one of each colour flower and stick to the back of one of the vases with tape; you will need to trim the wires so they don’t stick out of the bottom. Repeat for another vase so that you have two the same.
• Put more tape over the back of each vase making sure there is a strip down the centre vertical line – don’t stick together yet.
• Cut a piece of thread a bit longer than double the height of the card.
• Fold the thread in half and sandwich between the two vases, take of the tape backing and place them centrally on the thread.
• Open up the card blank and remove the pop out centres (these are great to use as mats and frames on other cards, you can colour them using inks or chalks).
• The card has 3 apertures with a fold line down the centre making 6 panels (see below for panel numbers). On panels 3&4 (on the wrong side) cover with tape round the aperture, down the centre fold line and down each side – don’t stick together yet.
• Also cover panel 1 of the card with tape round the aperture and down the side.
• Remove the tape backing from the centre fold line of the card and stick the thread and vases down the middle (with the vases in the middle of the aperture).
• Remove the tape backing from the rest of panel 3&4. Fold in the panel 2 and stick down on panel 3, Fold in panel 5 and stick to panel 4.
• This should leave just panel 1 and panel 6 unstuck, you can now remove the tape backing on panel 1 and stick to panel 6.
• Trim the end of the thread off the top and bottom of the card.
• Decorate the card with peel offs & sequins (or any decoration you like).

The card has three apertures, each with a fold line down the middle making 6 panels, these are 1 thru to 6 left to right.
