Project Sheet No3 - Girl's Spring Up Card
Step by Step Instructions

The following are free step by step instructions for you to print and use. These projects have a package available which will make 5 cards (either identical or similar designs) and include all the items you need to complete the project (excluding basics like tools and adhesives). We have also provided details of the items used in the project if you would like to buy them separately.

  1. Cut a 10cm (4inch) square from the piece of patterned paper. Stick this to the front of the card (the diamond shape with the two scalloped edges).
  2. Cut another piece of paper (approx 15cm x 7.3cm) and stick to the base/bottom part of the card (the rectangle at the opposite end to the front).
  3. Stick the bottom triangle portion to the base of the card that you have just covered in paper. Use double sided tape if possible.
  4. Cut out a stack-it (pyramid) decoupage and layer up using 1mm foam pads.
  5. Attach the finished decoupage to the front of the card so that it is the correct way up when the card stands up.
  6. Decorate the four corners of the front of the card with corner peel offs.
  7. Decorate the visible part of the base with border and/or corner peel offs and add a greeting if you wish.
